PJF Firewood is a family run business that was Est’d in 2016 due to the growing concern of the ban of fossil fuels. What was once a side-line business turned into a full-time job. Coming from a farming background and having knowledge in fuel supply, we seen the need for another alternative for fossil fuel. From 2016 to 2021 we have invested heavily in the state of the Art firewood machines, from cutting our firewood with our firewood processors, to drying our firewood in our firewood kiln, so this can guarantee that our customers gets the best firewood on the market. All our firewood is guaranteed to be under 25% moisture content, we are also certified under the WFQA scheme to ensure that all our firewood is guaranteed to be low moisture and produce the best heat possible. None of this would be even possible without our vast customer base and also my father, he has helped us grow in ways we couldn’t imagine. Anything we ever needed he was only a phone call away, whether it was borrowing his loader tractor or delivering firewood for us, we definitely wouldn’t be where we are without him. We source all our firewood within 50 miles radius of our yard through Coillte and many other small harvesting firms. All our logs come from sustainable forests and is 100% traceable to the forest floor, all our logs are delivered in by the artic load where it is then cut into log form straight into our cages and then placed into our kiln for 48 hours, to get the firewood under the magic number of 25% moisture. We can cater for any size order whether its wholesale or a domestic sale we do it all, we sell loose loads, bulk bags, net bags(45x60) and kindling, you can even collect from our yard every Saturday if you wish to save a few euro Thank you for taking the time to read about our family run business.
